The Port Edgar Yacht Club website is a very worthwhile visit. www.peyc.org.uk/cruising.html  contains notes on many of the places you may choose to visit, also Notices to Mariners and links to the local clubs.

 

Links to sailing clubs may also be given under the relevant harbour/town in the Pilot.

 

2 day Dinghy Cruising Course. Candidates must have RYA level 2. Go to www.portedgar.co.uk/school.html for details. The course includes some classroom work on the first day but includes a full day’s cruise with a rescue boat in company. The course is recommended by a contributor to this Pilot.
